Used Wrangler X

This is my first post. I just bought a 2006 Wrangler X. Wanted a jeep all my life and finally bought one as I retired. It is a soft top without a lot of extras and I would like to dress it up a bit. Any suggestions on what looks good and will help protect the vehicle? I will not be off roading with it, simply don't want to get stuck as I go hunting a fishing. Don't know which items would be best or last longest: Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Chrome?

Welcome! IMO black/powder coat is better looking than the "shiny" stuff. Also easier to take care of. As far as accessories, I have only owned my jeep for about 5 months, but I got some side mount KC lights and brackets right out of the gate because I knew I wanted them. As you are riding around and jeep peeps are waving at you now, notice what they have, and choose from there. I haven't gone crazy yet for that reason----didn't want to spend a bunch of money on stuff I wouldn't use or like later. I hope that helps.
