Vibrations during acceleration

Hi all, This is my first post on this website although I've been visiting for a year trying to diagnose little things that are wrong with my jeep. I bought my jeep used a year ago. Its a 2.5L straight 4 with a 5 speed manual gearbox with 118K miles on it now. I didn't think to ask the guy what exactly was done to the jeep except the standard questions (lift, tires, services). It has 33" tires and a 4" lift. Other than that I haven't done any mods to it. Now for the problem...When I drive the jeep for longer than say getting to school and back home, it vibrates intensely when I accelerate from a stop. It also vibrates when I come to a stop and don't have the clutch in yet. I took the skid plate off thinking it was pinion alignment but it looks solidly lined up. I even had my dad drive back in forth in the driveway to see the rotation and it looked fine. Even with the shaft spinning slowly, it still vibrated like hell. Gear changes are smooth (except sometimes its a struggle getting into 1st gear from a stop but that's a whole other post for later) and the clutch feels fine. This is my first standard vehicle but after a year its like second nature so I don't think it has anything to do with my footwork. I know I've probably left some stuff out but any help would be greatly appreciated.

You didn't say what year your Jeep is. By your screen name, your rig is probably a YJ. Because this is the newbie check-in area, you may not get the answers you are looking for. I suggest you check out this forum area and post your questions there, I think you'll get a better response.
