Question Where to go... where to go?

HI folks...
New here obviously... this looks like a good source of info for my future wrangler purchase.
I will be asking questions as we go by... mostly on my mind is... where does a basic Jeep Wrangler go off road?
Here we are abouit to buy a brand new Wrangler... possibly a Sahara... but can't find a place or club to go off roading... on the "mild side".
I have emailed EVERY club in Central Kentucky and got one answer by the furthest one away.
One guy I called on the phone and he said I would not like his group... they all have 35's and lifts and go in the tough stuff. Glad he told me up front tho!
My wife and I are looking for a jeep wrangler to drive often in the country... but need to utilize the 4x4 options off road... not off mountain or off swamp... just off road.
I can't imagine that every jeep or every jeep groups goes over boulders and into swamps!
Is their a statewide listing somewhere for the Off road areas that are simply off road? There just have to be trails out there somewhere.
Thanks in advance... I hope to learn from you guys.

Welcome from Florida

Usually the addiction starts with going off road in your stock rig with a group of mildly built rigs and seeing what yours can do lol. From being on the receiving end of those emails, most sent to a (club) email box are spam. I get about 80 spam mail a day and maybe 1 every couple weeks that is legit to the club address.
