wont start

Hi. I am a new member and of course I have a problem. I have a 99 wrangler with a 2.5 in it I just rebuilt the motor and now it won't start. Was having a problem with TDC it did not match the balancer. Called the shop that built the motor to ask if the timing marks we're lined up they said that the balancer sliped. Any way I brought #1 up to TDC and dropped the distributor in and it does not start. I have checked for spark and that's good changed the crankshaft sensor and still nothing. Can anyone help me.
