wrangler forum noobe.

im still not a jeep noob yet because i dont have the jeep yet. if all goes well by the end of the week ill have an 03 rubicon 5spd. all i have are pictures from the dealerships website. im really into my 89 f150 right now. its also got a straight six and 5spd. i plan on getting the jeep and keeping it stock while i fix the ford. then i will use the ford as a tow vehicle when the jeep is really to much for the road. i also love dirtbiking. i was looking for a way to mount a bike on a carrier behind the jeep using the hitch. not sure if they make any thing like that. oh yea my name is brian. ill see you out there.

The rubicons are really nice, from what I've seen they come with some really good parts from the factory.

As for the Ford, I'd re-think my plans if I were you. That 300 strait 6 is a beast, but its not a tow truck. I know this because I have a 1993 with the same motor. They have tons of torque, but don't put out enough to tow a Jeep.

umm yea they do. they were in f-600s, modern day equivalent would be f650 or f 750. same exact motor. i could pull a 15k lb camper with the motor in a heavier duty truck. it would bust the frame of my half ton. ill hook up to any stock gas v8 and make them a believer

just heard that the bank finally came through. i seriously cant believe how hard it was for me to get the loan. i have excellent credit and it took them two and a half days to decide. well thats behind me now. unfortunatly i have to wait until friday to pick it up. and as soon as it gets home those silly steps go in the corner of my garage until i need a spare piece of junk metal.
