wrangler newbie

HI, I recently purchased a 99 TJ l6 auto , been playing in dune sands mostly.

I think the engine lost some power , it doesn't accelerate as fast as before, any idea what can it be?

maybe spark plug problem ?
I just put new ones ( cheap ones though) 3 months ago.

Also is there any mod to the engine to get a better perfomance? , the TJ came with a cold air intake filter.
