Wrangler Rookie Here

Hey all,
My name is Brian and I am looking to pull the trigger on a 2014 JKU as soon as the dealership can locate one I want. This will be my first Jeep and I couldn't be more excited. I am turning 30 this summer and my wife and I just had our second child so I figured now was the perfect time to have a 1/3 life crisis and finally get a wrangler. I have been reading this forum like crazy and am so impressed with the knowledge and creativity of the members.

Looking forward to learning a lot and cruising in my new JKU.

Cheers,
BRP

Trigger has been pulled! 2014 JKU sport in Granite with 24s package, max tow, alpine audio, connectivity and trak-lok rear differential. Now I just have to wait until it gets delivered in the next few days (dealer trade).

Welcome. I'd suggest finding local clubs/groups for some wheeling.. as your kids grow up this is a great chance to build some awesome memories for them.. I remember many a day bouncing around in the back of our family 'car' ('63 Scout).

Great idea and I can't wait to make those memories. Though I think I would be a nervous wreck taking a brand new Jeep off-road. I have a feeling I will get over that fairly quickly.

So the dealer swap didn't work out. When the dealer I'm working with went to pick up the jeep, the other dealership sold it out from under them. Needless to say I am not happy. They are working to find one that meets my needs.

Until then I wait and go through window stickers...

Alright trying this again...

Looking like a 2014JKU sport S in Granite. Max tow pkg, connectivity, TRac-loc, Sirius and freedom top.

So only difference to prior is no alpine premium and freedom top instead of premimium soft top.

Hopefully this one doesn't get sold as well...
