How to pass recon?

Just moved here from San Diego. I have a lifted 2010 jk with 35/16 tires and short fenders. What should I do to pass?

My jeep isn't lifted, so I haven't gone through recon. But, my neighbor has a yj that is lifted *way* up. Not sure how far, but it was enough to fail recon.

I think the rule they got him with was that the bottom of the bumper had to be no more than 36" (might be inches either way, he wasn't precise when he was complaining to me) from the ground. It also meant his headlights were too high.

Other things he had to do was extend his fender flares and add mud flaps.
