Maui, laws/regulations

Hello, I'm going to Maui soon. I'm going to be cheating on my jeep with another jeep. I plan on taking the doors off when I get there. From what I've read the laws are similar to Ohio when it comes to mirrors. But I didn't see anything about doors. Is it legal to run doorless in Hawaii?

My own update. Doors are optional. Everyone seems to run mirrors, I asked a local that said you need an outside mirror but nobodies ever bothered him without. I don't see a lot of police out and about I'm guessing it's not severely enforced. The one officer I asked was completely confused and said "didn't it come with doors and mirrors?" So it's not an issue that at least he deals with.

No doors, no problem- pretty sure you still need mirrors though.
Oahu a little more restrictive that Maui regarding tires and fenders and the like, but no doors no problem.
