Arrow DV8 Offroad - MR Series HD D44 JK Axle Housing

Ridiculous pricing on a "GROUP BUY" from Allen's Offroad. I need (5) to order! Who wants one?

$1600.00 shipped in the lower 48 US. You read that correctly, $1600.00 shipped. Cali residents add 7.5% sales tax. Click on any image to see available options.

The DV8 Offroad MR Series Dana 44 Replacement Axle Housing is one of the best upgrades that any hardcore wheeler can make. The stock Dana 44 that comes on Rubicon models is prone to bending, and in some extreme cases, breaking when running 35"+ tires and doing any kind of off road driving. If you have a bent axle, or bent axle C's, then you'll notice that your Jeep handles differently on the road. You may also notice negative camber (when your tires are closer at the top than the bottom).

With the DV8 Offroad MR Series front axle you'll no longer have to baby your jeep when hitting bumps or crawling on the rocks. With almost 1/2" thick tubing and much beefier C's, you can wheel with more confidence, knowing that you wont be stranded from an axle housing failure.

Details:

Ductile Cast Iron with Increased Gusseting
3.25" Wide .48" Wall Tubes
Stronger and Thicker Spring Seats
Forged Inner "C" much wider and thicker than OE
Geometry Correction For 3"+ Lift Height (5.3 deg caster- 5.8 deg pinion)
Reinforced 1/4" LCA Brackets
Pre-Installed High Quality HD Ball Joints
Heavily Reinforced 1/4" Trackbar Mount
(serveral mounting holes for draglink flip kits/proper alignment)
Reinforced Shock/Coilover Mounts
HD Reinforced Swaybar Link Mounts
HD Ductile Iron Diff Cover - Ribbed for Strength
Easy to Fill Oil Plug Location
Fluid Window to Check for Level/Contamination

List of Compatible Lockers:

Rubicon (30 Spline) #68017176AA - Reuse factory or aftermarket 30 spline shafts
ARB (35 Spline) #RD157 - Requires aftermarket 35 spline shafts
OX Locker (35 Spline) D-44-JKR-35 -Requires aftermarket 35 spline shafts
OX Locker (30 Spline) D44-JKR-30 -Reuse factory or aftermarket 30 spline shafts

Download DV8 Offroad Axle Warraty PDF Here.

Notes:
* All additional parts are shipped seperately and are not installed.
* Installing aftermarket 35 spline shafts will require a larger inner axle seal. The seal can also be purchased from many auto parts warehouses using part number SKF15518. Factory style inner seal kits can be found under Mopar part number 5014852AB.
* Slight modifications may need to be made to the differential cover in order to clear the stock tie rod. If there is contact between the tie rod and diff cover the installer may need to shave off a slight amount of metal from some of the differential cover heatsink fins.

@kjeeper10 ProRock 44 is $2159 for housing only and the RockJock 44 is $1600 and the housings do not include brackets, ball joints, cover or yoke.

So why aren't these flying off the shelf.

Dunno people rather spend $1k on a J8 44 With only slightly thicker tubes.

I would be all over this with my upcoming re-gear but after dropping loads of money on lift, wheels and tires, tire rod, drag link, superchips, tire carrier and bumper. I just can't do it until next year.

Well this deal isn't going anywhere. Just need a minimum of (5) at a time.

Have a great evening.

Just be strong and save up. Get four other buddies and make it a build weekend. This will be an ongoing deal as long as we can move some of them.

Have a fantastic evening.

Heck no! Four other buddies and a build weekend? More like 4 buddies getting drunk in my shop emptying my fridge of all its contents while I build 5 axles.. Haha..

Hi Allen

The post shows the caster and pinion angles for the d44 housing for lifts more than 3+ inches of lift

Do you happen to have the caster and pinion angles for the d30 housing for 0-3 inches of lift?

Hi Allen

Thanks for the prompt reply. Yes it is indeed an old thread.
I don’t plan on buying a new housing. I already have a MR series HD 30. I was doing some front end alignment and hence wanted to know the angles and couldn’t find any info anywhere.
Appreciate if you could help with the info.

Namaste
