The DV8 Offroad MR Series Dana 44 Replacement Axle Housing is one of the best upgrades that any hardcore wheeler can make. The stock Dana 44 that comes on Rubicon models is prone to bending, and in some extreme cases, breaking when running 35"+ tires and doing any kind of off road driving. If you have a bent axle, or bent axle C's, then you'll notice that your Jeep handles differently on the road. You may also notice negative camber (when your tires are closer at the top than the bottom).
With the DV8 Offroad MR Series front axle you'll no longer have to baby your jeep when hitting bumps or crawling on the rocks. With almost 1/2" thick tubing and much beefier C's, you can wheel with more confidence, knowing that you wont be stranded from an axle housing failure.

* All additional parts are shipped seperately and are not installed.
* Installing aftermarket 35 spline shafts will require a larger inner axle seal. The seal can also be purchased from many auto parts warehouses using part number SKF15518. Factory style inner seal kits can be found under Mopar part number 5014852AB.
* Slight modifications may need to be made to the differential cover in order to clear the stock tie rod. If there is contact between the tie rod and diff cover the installer may need to shave off a slight amount of metal from some of the differential cover heatsink fins.
