I recently got a POPUP and it is close to 3500 lbs......and both my vehicles a Sienna van and the wrangler are right at the capacity of towing. Was torn between ditching the wrangler and getting a f150 and then the gladiator happened. I will dtich the JKU plus my DD hybrid Plus my R1200gs and get the diesel version of the gladiator, this will fit perfectly for many of my needs...

Why ditch the R1200gs?? Unless that is not your only bike... I have always kept at least one bike to enjoy the feeling riding can only provide...

Bed would be perfect for my wetsuits, tank, fins, dirty stink ocean stuff, surfboards, lumber, a dead animal I shot. I can't wait to sell my JL and grab one. Getting rid of my truck for a jeep was tough. Now I can have both.

Travel Trailer

I would love to be able to tow a 20-21 foot travel trailer with a Gladiator.

The same way I use my JK. But I'm not getting a Gladiator, the trailer is sufficient for anything I need to carry and I'm saving my nickles to add a C8 to our stable in year 2 or 3 of production.

"IF" in a couple of years, a Gladiator is in my future, it would be built with 4.5" lift with 40's to get the proper break-over angle and would be built strictly for "Over-Landing". Tent, fridge/freezer, stove, etc, etc. When and If I need a pick up truck, I will buy a 1956 Chevy 3500'.
