Goodbye JK and hello JT

So last Sept I had a thread that I had not seen many JT's and I still have not really seen many, less than I can count on both hands.....but......Today I just became a JT owner myself.

Got a decent trade on the JKUR and my JTU is on a truck that should be here next week. I kinda like that I don't see many, I guess it will make me special

Pics will be added to this thread next week hopefully.

I am thinking about doing the same thing. My wife has a Rubicon so I may trade in my Sahara and purchase a Gladiator.

Congrats! It'll be the best and most useful Jeep you've ever had!

White Rubi with color matching top and fenders. Should be in this week so I can pick it up. When I went into the dealer I did not know it was a en-route jeep and thought it was on the lot. Can't wait.

I'm about to do the same if I can get a good deal on my 2015 JKU Hard Rock. I want a Gator Rubicon.

Here it is ! I will say I was stupid, I thought it had the black interior and obviously I did not look at the sticker closed enough and I open the door and it has black with dark saddle....my heart sunk and I was ticked at myself....But...my wife loved it way more than the red and and black interior and I know it will grow on me. I will say I like the black dash over the red.

Here in So Cal there are plenty of them everywhere, on dealer lots and on the road. Many lifted and 35+ tires. Setting them up for overlanding. Lifting and tires makes a huge difference in the look. Does the rear seat flip or fold for room for a big dog or gear?

Bottom of seat flips up, but there is a cargo compartment underneath. Back of seat flips down, but there is a big gap between the back and front seats. IMO area is not enough for a big dog to have a secure perch.

I assume you can remove the cargo area under the seat, but never looked into it. I know some fellows on the Gladiator Form have pics of mods they did to make the rear passenger compartment flat.

Yes, the seats flip up, but you need to remove the cargo storage area for a big dog. There is a rear seat delete YT video too that adds a platform.

My first thought was a pair of 10" Rockford Phosgate's would fit very nicely under the back seats. Then the dog gets the top of the seat!
