MPG - First Extended Trip

Evening,
Just got back from my first quick trip across the state and got 18 MPG going 75-80 MPH most of the way. I am happy with that; it's not a Prius after all. Now have 900 miles on the JT. Anyone else have anything better?

Anything better like in what? MPG? Someone reported 21-22 MPG...

What are you doing to lose 4 MPG?

I was chalking it up to engine break in and speeds on the highway. I see 20+ MPG on roads where I keep it around 60 MPH. Overall, not much different than the JKU I had.

I bought a new Journey with the 3.6 a few years ago and the day after we got it drive from Indiana to Florida. Several people commented that after break in the mileage would get better. That first trip was the best mileage we got and have made that drive 5 or more times and have never gotten mileage that good, the break in didnt have a negative impact on mine, it gradually got worse with age.

I made another trip, and this thing certainly doesn't like a head wind. Still in the 18-19 range. 1500 miles now.
