Tonneau Cover

I am looking at the different options for the Tonneau covers and am overwhelmed. Don't know if I should go less expensive as they likely don't last terribly long any way or go expensive and hpe it does, or something in between? Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks!
Dave

I too am looking. On Amazon, there are some hard, aluminum covers also. Covers for Chevy Colorado with 5' bed also fit. A camper shell might be nice, but I have the soft top and that would prevent the full open configuration from working.

You are going to have to find one that works with or without the trail rail bed rail system, depending on if you have it or not. I am a huge fan of Truxedo products and if you get one with a lifetime warranty you won't have to worry about failure because they stand behind there products very well.

I went with https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Cheapest option I could find.
Only about a week on but so far, so good.

I'm considering this one. Best price I've saw. Got a buddy running one one a F-150 and he loves it.

I"m going with the Rough Country tri-fold hard tonneau. I prefer the clean lines of it and don't want a soft sided cover.

Since last summer I've been running the MaxMate roll up cover that I got from Amazon for $147. It's made for Chevy Colorado but fits the Gladiator like a glove. It's been an awesome cover. Zero issues or complaints with it. And mine has been rolled up many many times and it's seen lots of rough weather.

Hey can you post a picture. I was considering a tri-fold cover but may look into the one you got. That's pretty cheap. I'm trying to stay under $300 on one.

I agree. This is one I am looking at, but trying to find less than $650. Hopefully way less...

I'm only paying $550 I'll send you a PM with my contact. Even the vendors here are not that cheap from the quote I just got.

I did what WXman did and couldn't be happier. No need to pay top dollar for the official mopar one.

So you guys prefer the roll up cover as opposed to a tri-fold. I was considering a roll up but my buddy said I would prefer the tri-fold over the roll up. Just wondering what the advantages, cons are to each one. I've never owned a truck so bare with me.

Never owning a trifold, I did have a leather rollup on my Dakota. More compact package.

Just my experience.

This is my first truck so the roll-up is the only kind I've had. Get what you want, but if you get a roll-up might as well get one for $147 instead of the officially uber expensive mopar version for a million dollars or whatever they sell it for. Blows my mind that a Chevy truck roll-up cover can be put on a Gladiator and mopar doesn't lower their price. Personally I'd rather have one of those hard covers that has the hydraulic arms that lift on one end but they're like $1000 or more probably. Mopar's are probably 10 billion dollars. Obviously I'm being very sarcastic but you get my point.
