Headers

I just got a 2001 tj with a 2.5. I want to install California legal headers. Has anyone have experience with them and how was the improvement ? Also like to know if you went with a turbo too?

Got my headers from AM auto parts. Paid $80 to my door and was direct replacement. I looked everywhere and all the aftermarket like banks and stuff said may not be California legal so I just bought an oem replacement part. Huge difference when I got rid of my exhaust leak. Couldn't be happier

I got a banks header 6 or 7 years ago, after I got the flowmaster muffler, and the cold air intake. You will feel the most difference at wide open throttle response. It just keeps on giving, instead of saying "there ain't no more to give after half throttle". I bet If I added a 4.0 throttle body, it would compliment the header. Worth it for street driving, and mountain roads.

I can't edit my post, so I will add that the header shows up in wide open throttle.
