1997 TJ 4.0, Well Modded, $14k
Time to let her go. Built up from almost nothing. Asking $14k obo.
1997 Wrangler 4.0, 5 speed manual AX15, 192k miles (was rebuilt at 120k), clean title. Ridiculously reliable. Daily driver (although I'm not driving it really anymore). More pics available to interested buyers...
There's literally too much too list on this TJ, but I posted a list at the end for looks. There's $21-22k in this jeep in parts. I did all the work myself. Always the best fluids, Redline in tranny, and xfer case. Here's some highlights:
35" BFG KM2 Mud Terrains (spare has Wrangler MT/R but different model wheel)
Built front and rear Rubicon 44's (which gives you rear disc), factory air lockers, 4.88 gearing, wired beautifully, speedo corrected.
Vanco 16" Big Brake Kit (excellent brake modulation)
Currie 4" Spring lift with all 8 Saavy Johnny Joint Dbl Adjustable Aluminum Control Arms, Fox Shocks valved for these springs and load of this size TJ.
Front and Rear Currie Trackbars, Mega Short SYE with Adams Front and Rear Driveshafts. Saavy Steering. The geometry of this jeep is perfect. Zero vibes at any speed. 40 lube points. Yep. Every 3000k miles.
Amazing Sound System. Had to compensate for all that road noise. With PRP Seats, Bedrug and warm white LED interior lighting, it's pretty cozy inside.
BiXenon (Hi and Lo beam) HID Projector Retrofit. Aimed properly. You'll never get flashed.
Onboard ARB air with 2 different quick connects to air up quick after the trail. 10 minutes from 12-15psi to 28psi all 4 tires.
Trick rear storage/payload carrying capability.
A/C that blows 52° when it's 110° out and vehicle is moving.
It goes anywhere, and stops better than many sports cars. This is not some sketchy jeep with zero road manners. This doesn't have some half-done budget suspension parts. It WILL lock up 35's. It has never left me stranded. It always leads the pack. I never had to recover myself with the winch. Only others. Cooling system is good to go. Needs nothing but gas and religious fluid changes. Paint is rough. I'm not figuring it in to the price. I'm throwing in a brief top for those of you that wanna let your mullets flap in the wind. Alignment is dead nuts. Parts are all easily maintainable or obtainable. No custom sized parts. Custom underhood sub fuse panel. All wiring sheathed and loomed. Comes with rear axle shaft spares with plates, bearings and retainers mounted and greased.
