Angry BFG KM3 backorder

I ordered a set of BFG KM3 35x12.50 tires from you that were on sale. There was nothing on the page that said it was back ordered and now i just received an Email saying it is back ordered for 2-3 MONTHS!

I could understand being back ordered for a month or so but 3? How can you even list an item for sale on your site without mentioning a 3 month back order? I did get a decent deal but not sure if it's worth the 3 month wait it will take to get them i am very disappointed in 4wd hardware for not even mentioning this on the page.

Sounds typical for 4 Wheel Hardware. Check with Discount Tire. They do a much better job at balancing, flat repair AND they even use a torque wrench to do the final tightening on the lug nuts. You won't get anything close to that out of 4 Wheel Hardware. You would be lucky to get a good balance.

I didn't order a tire/rim package just tires. I was going to order from quadratec but 4wd was cheaper by $75 and the website said nothing about them being out of stock for 3 months.

I am not even sure if they have charged my card yet or not. I asked them in a email and they didn't say anything about it only that i could change my order to a different tire. The only reason i bought the BFG's was because they were $100 off a set of 4.

These tires seem to be out of stock everywhere, i guess at lest i got a good price on them even if i have to wait 1/4 of a year. Really irritating though because i have axles being built by ECGS with a different bolt pattern and now my jeep will be sitting on jack stands.

I would call Quadratec and ask them if they "price match" (which I think they do) and what the availability for those tire are. If they are that far back ordered everywhere, then there is really nothing you can do. BUT try a phone call. IF 4wd Parts says you can't cancel an order which is 3 or 4 months from being filled, there is a BIG problem. Don't forget (like I do EVERYTIME I order from them) they give a discount for Wrangler Forum members. They won't ask.

I have found 4wd.com ie 4wd hardware has been extremely good to deal with. Contact the vendor and no doubt they will cancel your order no problem. They may have had plenty of tires when the sale began and sold out due to the sale. `not sure what deal they were but discount tire and tire buyer both show them for 323 and I know dt matches valid prices.

I used a discount code they had on the main page i forgot to ask about a wrangler forum discount, oh well.

I am not going to cancel the order i want KM3's i just didn't expect them to be out of stock for 3 months during my winter jeep build. I still got a good price and i doubt any better sales will come along I'm just irritated they said it would ship in 7ish days like it said in the confirmation email. Now i'm stuck with a jeep sitting here i cant even work on for 3 months that i needed to get everything ironed out on before spring.

I called BFG directly just to ask about the KM3 in this size. They told me that this size is currently in production and should have orders filled by the middle of the month. He said that they will be making 5000 of them on this run to catch up with orders. So the wait shouldn't be that long so hopefully i wont have to wait 3 months before i can get the jeep on the ground and start finishing up the build.

Must be nice. I placed my order at the end of March 2019, billed in early April. It's now almost June and all they say is the order is still being processed. I originally got a notice the item was on backorder and estimated to be in stock April 19. 1.5 months later, and no update from them. I've emailed, I've called, I've filed a complaint with the BBB. I came here to see if they have a rep and they haven't logged on for 15 months. Will be the last time I do business with them. Trying one last time before I need to dispute the charge with my credit card company before the 60 days are up.

Should have used Quadratec!!! I don't even know why I didn't check with them!
