Seats

Do any vendors have a showroom with multiple manufactures seats on display? I am looking for seats that will retain the folding forward function in my TJ. I would like to be able to sit in different models and see how they feel before I buy.

That would be great if they did, the amount of money you have to spend on good seats, It'd be nice if you could at least sit on them. The only place I have seen seats you can actually try before you buy is at Summit Racing. Other than that, I guess you have to know someone who has them to try them.

Our sister company 4 Wheel Parts have seats on display at the stores. We have one in Orlando at 5018 W. Colonial Dr. Orlando, FL 32808 and in Nevada at 40 Victorian Ave. Sparks, NV 89431. Let me know if this helps!

I went. They had a Smittybilt seat that had levers and would flip forward but was too narrow for my 36" waist. The one Carbeau that flipped was made for someone shorter than 6'. The head rest area was too short and hit me right in the neck. It was the most comfortable. The search will continue. I really wish the aftermarket made fixes for the stock seats.

Hey guys!,
Willysdave, I apologize about that. I must have contacted the wrong store to check. Let me know if you have any questions about the seats and I'll try and help you out as much as I can. Bessemerengine, It is difficult to find a taller seat. If you go the the Corbeau website they have all the measurements for all of there seats listed there.

I ended up finding front agate seats out of a 2005. They were not a direct fit, but I made them work. Now I need to find a matching rear seat. Color is the same as my 1999 but the pattern is different.

How do you like them?
I got the corbeau GTI ii love the seats, the bracket that attach to the stock seat slider makes the seat set a little too high.
Corbeau makes a really nice back seat with head rest. I was looking at them online

The 2005 seats are decent. Definitely a different feel. I had almost 17 years in my old ones so any change will take some getting use to. If I could have gotten the 2005 brackets with the seats the swap would have been much easier.
