Looking for Jeep Wrangler shocker modifications

I am a frequent outdoor traveler & love to explore different trails. But i am looking to increase the ground clearance of my Jeep Wrangler. What should i do?
Should i go for shocker modification or what?

Welcome to the Forum sevenview,

What year is your Wrangler? What modifications does it have, if any?
Have you had issues with parts of your Jeep contacting the ground?

Good Luck, L.M.

A lift will increase ground clearance on some of your Jeep, but your differentials will always be the low point. The only way to increase clearance under the differentials is to put on bigger tires. On some styles of Wranglers, bigger tires go hand in hand with a lift.

That will certainly lift most who receive it.

I'm guessing the OP is French Canadian.

The term you are looking for is Suspension Lift that will include longer Shocks.

Read through this. There is a TON of info on what you need, how to do it and why?

If I go for Suspension Lift will it not make the Jeep a little unstable on uneven trails? Actually I don't want to do a lot of mods mentioned in the link you mentioned.

Im not sure what you are asking then.

Shocks do not give the vehicle extra clearance - the springs do. Springs in combination with shocks (and a few other things) will increase the height of your vehicle. You can increase it a little (1-1.5") or a LOT (6") or something in between. That link provides you with lots of options.

You are trying to make your vehicle a little taller right?
