Lightbulb Revamping the off road fire extinguisher and need input from the community

Iím an industrial design student working on designing a new fire extinguisher for off road/camping vehicles as my final project and would love some firsthand input.

  • Do you have a fire extinguisher in your car?
  • If so, what kind of fire extinguisher is it?
  • What made you get that one?
  • What do you think is the best location to keep your fire extinguisher?
  • What would you like to see improvement on?

2.5lb ABC dry chem on rear roll bar in a pouch like the above, And a 5lb ABC dry chem in a spring bracket on the front of drivers seat, bracket between the seat rails.

In an '04

I have them because I'm a firefighter, and why not... The catalytic converter is hot AF and lights leaves and shit on fire off road. Rear one to grab by anyone that needs one. Drivers side so I can grab it if I can't get out of the jeep, I'd rather not burn to death if I can avoid it.

5lb bracket idea stolen from Jerry Bradsford.
