Offer an off highway use version. That's for the people who only want to wheel and want stripped models. Would let Jeep doing anything they want to it outside of government regulations. It would open all engine choices and could remove emission controls. Just can't drive on the road.

Then refine the on road versions. Better gas mileage, backup camera, etc and bring the wrangler up to today's vehicles.

I also think they should do more packages and less a LA cart ordering like the Asian car companies do. Have what I want on the lot instead of having to order. If you can't afford the extra $300 for an option you don't want on a $30k vehicle, maybe you should look for a cheaper vehicle.

I like my jeep pretty much the way it is. The only thing I'd like to see is a little better design when it comes to storage. I find it comical that my jeep owners manual doesn't really quite fit in the Jeep glove box without folding it over a little and the center storage bin is a joke. A hook of a clasp somewhere in the front for a small garbage bag would be nice. A few small touches here and there would go a long way to making the interior a bit more practical.

My current Jeep is Jeep # 28 for me. I want the same thing I have wanted in every short wheelbase Jeep I've bought since my 1975 CJ-5, a factory installed V8. Come on Jeep, at least make it optional. The Grand Cherokee Overland gets an optional V8, why not the JKUR?

Oh yeah LESS plastic I'm sorry JK guys but they are ugly as sin stock
The Jeep Wranglers have not had a mini van motor since 2011!
My fault! I did not realize how old this thread was when I posted. Sorry!

Even better, have a tongue in cheek "ORT" (Offroad Racing Technology) trim level haha. Probably need to be on the JKU for a more stable wheelbase though.

I'm fairly sure I know what most Wrangler owners would say to my statement but I think people would be better off without all of the creature comfort do-dads. I live in a hot and humid climate and I would even vote for no AC. Of course I've always been a advocate to the K.I.S.S. theory.
