Bought 2 door wrangler from here

I purchased my 2015 wrangler from you all back in August 2014 and have to say it was a great deal. The only thing I have a complaint about is that you all said someone "lost" the second key for my jeep and that you would call. You all never did and I have talked to reps from there and they said its been more than 30 days and they cant do anything even though they found my file with the "we owe" slip in it, and if I want a new one its $156. To me you all should pay for cause you "lost" it. Other than that it was a great deal and the service people are nice and knowledgeable.

Sounds like Koon's owes you a key. Don't settle for less than a new key.

I have multiple times, and they keep saying no and want to charge me $156 for a new one. Think its time for an email to FCA and say that they are not trying to make it right.

That sucks. Did they give you an actual written "We Owe"? If they did and you have it in writing take them to small claims court if FCA doesn't go to bat for you. You'll get a key. I wouldn't have taken title to the car w/o the key, but that's water under the bridge now.

I had one, but it got misplaced when I had the carpet replaced in the house I am staying at. I have not heard back from FCA yet but its only been a day.

Quick update after getting a hold of Jeep and having them talk to the people of Koons I was finally able to get my second key made at no cost. It only took 14 months for them to admit fault. Yes they have great prices but, I think I may go other places from now on.

So they pulled the same thing on me when I bought my Jeep. I think something is up, how do you misplace so many keys? They owed me a second key but kept bugging me about their review from Jeep in the mean time. I did not want to fill it out until I was completely satisfied, but of course I gave them good scores anyways. Surprisingly they called me short after saying they found the key. Pretty sure that was their plan from the get go.

they tried to pull that move on a coworkers wifes new jeep and she called everyday until they magically "found" it. One would think there morals would be like that this is ethically wrong.

Everybody talks up how great a deal they got from those folks and I thought that I might give them a try next time I'm in the market, but based on this thread I can tell you where I'm NOT going for my next Jeep.

Life's too short to put up with crap like that.

Not surprising. I worked at a dealership that would hold back our bonuses [if we hit the goal] unless we scored 100% for every survey/review for every car we sold that month. So if the goal for the bonus was 25 cars, and 24 people filled out the survey/review, and 24 of them were 100% satisfied and 1 customer didn't fill out the survey there'd be no bonus. Or if that one person rated the deal less than perfect no bonus. Salesman did all sorts of things to get that perfect score, and managers often forced them to push the customers for it. Bad surveys make the GM look bad as well as the dealership! Offering freebies came out of our checks. It is a cut throat business!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe they have a similar policy.

Smart move, no key no survey!! Once you have the key if you're not happy then drop the bomb, if you're happy give them a perfect score. Once again no key no survey!

They even made me come back to the dealer for the key, which was a little bit of a pain in the arse. Purchased a Cherokee for the wife soon after, went to another dealer for that one.
