Ads: This is too far...

Guys, I love the site...these forums are a great boon to Wrangler owners...But the self playing ads are NOT cool. I have multiple tabs up, and all of a sudden I hear adds about random crap play out of no where. Has anyone else experienced this? I then have to find out what tab it is, and it's ALWAYS Wranglerforum. It's really really annoying. Especially if I'm listening to spotify or something, I hear this stupid ad starting to play and I have to hunt it down, after it stomps all over my music or audio books that I listen to. Anyone else no pleased with these audio side bar ads?

In this day and age ads are everywhere and getting more and more "In your face" with their tactics. I can't even buy gas at some stations without listening to the pump trying to sell me something. As much as I hate to recommend this, as the ads support this forum, run AdBlocker. If ads were just pictures that sat there happily and I only had to look at them, that would be great. But the internet is full of click bate, flashing, scrolling, noisy, bouncing, GIFs and movies that with out running an ad blocker, the internet is un-usable. If the general population fights back with ad blockers, they might get the message?

As a note, While I don't see the WF sponsors ads, they are the first companies I go to when I am shopping for jeep stuff.

The number one reason I shop sponsor sites (beyond being sponsors of course) is when I see them posting on the forum, especially when helping people if they have issues. Pop up are a PITA

If you're using a Mac all you have to do is click the little speaker icon on the tab itself. Could be the same for others using Windows based systems.

I paid to be a supporting member. Added bonus is very few ads.

Also run AdBlock in Chrome.

Just close all your popups from porn sites. LOL.

Why would I pay a pro to do something, when I can screw it up just as bad, for less?
