Advertisements too intrusive!

I am pretty well fed-up with the crazy levels of pop-up video ads and tracking sites that make this site just miserably slow to load and a pain to view.
I actually love the content and enjoying checking-out our advertisers, but am sick of the over-the-top levels of annoying ads the site's owners allow to plague it.
Usually I just stop visiting sites if they get this bad, but am hoping if I let the admins know, they'll consider establishing some standards for what is allowed and what isn't. As it stands now, it's WAY too annoying.

If you're logged out, you'll see more ads.
If you wish to see less, you can sign up for a subscription and you will see less of them.

Find a good ad blocker for your browser for either your phone or computer. Simple solution that gives you more control. 42 popups blocked so one can see the issue is real.

Even though I have a paid membership I use Ghostery with Firefox to block any unwanted ads and trackers. Ghostery says it has blocked 30 items since I logged on 10 minutes ago.

Between Ghostery and my paid membership I get no annoying pop-ups. I did the membership more for the money this site has saved me in DIY projects and helpful advice than anything. It's my way of saying thanks.
