Hi,

Thanks for pointing that out. I can't see this being a major issue with anyone else however I'm willing to be proven wrong?

Fergus

Hold the boat there Fergus! Once you see something like that you can't un-see it... This is going to drive me insane now too. OCD is kicking in high time already. Going to have to spin around three times to the left and hop on my right foot 6 times while singing the first verse of "I Feel Pretty" from West side story. Oh god this is going to get BAD!

OCD you say.. How bad could it be? To give you an idea I had 2 sets of decals made for my Jeep. It turned out that they were cut from 2 rolls of the same color film. No one but me could tell that the color was off but it ate me up! I bought a roll of the film and sent it to the decal guy so he could re-cut all my decals and hold on to the rest for future orders just so they would match perfectly!

You have to fix it!

Just to make sure I'm looking at the same thing, this is the backward Rubicon in question?

Noticed it before, but I guess my CDO isn't as bad as the rest of you.

Question is, did the owner installing it that way or is it a right hand drive Jeep and was reversed to make it look like a left hand drive.

Looks as though someone didn't proof the negative on the photo before they put it up.

Reported to creative to get that fixed up, I requested if they could possibly match the banner that is seen when using the site on the laptop/desktop.

Ticket 2748486. Stand by for an update - thanks for your patience!

Cheers,
Nate

Switched on purpose to make it right hand drive or accidentally? But still the driver being on that side of the jeep with the "R" in Rubicon closest to him either means it's a Left hand drive Jeep or that the owner did it on purpose so people would have something to talk about.

My guess is the image was flipped to make it a right hand drive jeep only because using film and negatives are rare anymore. Although I don't know when the image was taken, so it could be an accident.

Ok, looking closer, it appears as if the Jeep on the side is also backwards, so the image was flipped. As to the reason, accident or make it right hand drive...?

And now I just noticed the image is mirrored at the peak of the hill. You can see the clouds and dirt are a mirror image across from it. Someone photoshopped the other jeeps into the left image or out of the mirror image. Some of the mirrored cloud isn't mirrored, but copied over and then distorted a bit.

Way more talking about something I don't care all the much about, but fun to discuss.

I'd always assumed that the jeeps were shopped in so they all faced the same direction.

THANK GOD!!

This has been bugging me since I joined 2 years ago. I was so happy to see it change, then I saw this thread. I just didn't want to be the only one complaining about it.

Honestly, my OCD would f'in itch when I'd see it. haha

Thank you!!

10-06-2017....AARRGG!!! You guys have taken away the one complaint I had about this forum now that there's a new banner.

Now I'll have to find something even more petty to complain about.

Good Luck, L.M.

Hmmm...I don't even see my Wrangler in the PIC..not even a BLACK WRANGLER..very, very sad..

Maybe I will take a PIC of it and change the color on all of the..you guessed it to BLACK. But it has been said, that BLACK is really not considered a color..

You guys make for an entertaining read

Update on the banner - this has been fixed. If it still does not switch the banner, it may be because you have chosen "Wrangler Forum v1.0_Jan2015" as the default skin. You would need to change your own settings under User CP > Edit Options to make my update have any effect.

Can you guys confirm that this is working on your end? Does this put your OCD to rest? hehe

Thanks for your patience,
Nate

You can change skins on this page if you look at the left very lower bottom of any page instead of going to user cp.I just changed to see and itís still reversed.

Hey Nate, one thing you may want to fix on the new (old) banner before one of the OCD folks figure it out: Normally the banner can be clicked on as a link to the main page. The only part of the current banner that is hot linked is the area with the words Wrangler Forum.com. The Jeep picture isn't hot linked.
