If a person gets the required 15 posts and immediately tries to post in the classified section, it is not unusual for the system to deny access. It sometimes takes the forum servers a little bit to recognize the person has over 15 posts.

A way to get around the delay is to log off the forum. This will clear your computer's cookies and when you log back in, you should be good to go.

Sometimes it can take up to an hour for the system to recognize new permissions. The script for updating account info runs about every hour

You need to post this in the TJ tech forum. I'll provide a link below. When you do post be sure to give some info about your Jeep. I know that it is a TJ but I had to go to your profile to get that. What year, model is it? Is it stock? Have you replaced the bumpers or removed the milk jugs from the original bumper. Adding pics will also help to identify it.

Question

I am wondering the same thing. I have tried to post in the WF New Member Check In, to no avail. I can see the New Thread button and type in the Title/Text, but whenever I go to submit it I always get an HTTP ERROR 500. I've tried this on two Mac computers at home and even came out to the Senior Center in town to give it a whirl on a Windows based machine. Still no go.

So in lieu of starting a new thread, I am attempting this to see if I can even post a reply.

Try making a thread with just the thread title of the letter a, then edit it shortly after to be correct. We're tracking an issue with starting threads.

Yep, I found out when trying to help a member with this same issue, that certain words like PATRIOT AND VIDEO, in the title would be blocked. When them words were removed, then I could post..FYI

That worked PERFECTLY and the new thread posted. I edited the body of the post, but saw no where I can change the TITLE.(Ref: https://www.wranglerforum.com/f12/a-...l#post34175255). I would prefer it to be: First time Jeep owner in TN

AG,

I tried changing his Thread Title, but it was a no go.. So there is still a problem.

I played with the title wording, and the hang-up is the word Jeep. So I substituted the word Wrangler for Jeep, and it worked..FyI

So now we know, Jeep, Video and Patriot are no goes...FYI

Must have exceeded the integer array that counts the word 'Jeep" in titles.

That's just fine.

Strange though (new users?) cannot post a thread with 'Jeep' in the title, ha ha

I ran a vB board for over a decade, but we were small enough to utilize the ALERT function to automatically put suspect threads into a Moderation Pool if/when a regular user noticed anything spam-ish about a new thread.

When our Forum Computer system samples something unusual, as possibly SPAM, then it places that Thread, or Post in our » Quick Moderation. Only our Staff can see these Threads, until we delete, or approve them.
