Exclamation For What It's Worth

Last Monday, My "Opera" web browser disrupted my web searches with a message saying that I needed to update. In doing so I closed down all login and restarted the browser.

Upon my return to the forum and which I've sent the web master/site host an email in reference to what I discovered.. the Wrangler Forum has an unsecured login window system as indelicate my my web browser's warning.

This doesn't mean I'm not able to login, it simply means that to all those who feel this could be a threat to their login security.. one should take precautions as to what and how their password is created.

What does "Unsecured Login" mean? it could mean that to whom ever is running the show.. can actually see your password or if a good enough hacker can view your password and gain control of your account. Even if one is "creative" when creating a password.. it could still be stolen.

This might now matter to you, but because of the rash of backdoor hacking going on and user bank accounts have been stolen.. a more secure login to ALL sites should be implemented as a mean of protecting their members.

So until the forum host takes a stance on this.. I've been rather creative with my current password and you should too.

Hey there,

this is the ssl warning coming from your browser. We're all aware of this on our end, it's a condition set by google to have all webpages updated with https/ssl. We're working on mass launching this on all login in pages in the near future.

the good thing is, it shouldn't be an issue if you don't have your bank info in your account.

there is a thread in the forum that has already been addressing this issue.
