Forum to post questions about cleaning/detailing Wranglers?

Is there a forum specifically for cleaning/detailing Wranglers or am I missing it? Thank you.

I think most consider running thru a big mud puddle a proper detail. )

ID:	3979849Of all the vehicles I've owned the Wrangler has to be one of the easiest to wash+wax. Only the hood and a few crevices need pampering as the slab sided exterior washes off easily. Off-roading>rinse>wash>repeat

There's no specific forums for detailing @NEPA_Wrangler so your best bet is to create a thread in the General Discussion sub forum for the specific type of Wrangler you have.
I'm sure lots of people will chime in.

Cheers,

Erik

I've been needing a pressure washer for a couple years now. We are having a new pool installed and a deck so I will need it for that plus other uses. I am planning to get a foam cannon. I started watching some of the Chemical Bro's stuff on youtube. I did have a ceramic coating applied to my new JKU and so far this winter washing has been a breeze. I have a heated garage at work with a wash bay so it's been nice this winter.

My friend at work was just mentioning that he wants to ceramic coat his truck. He said it's like a permanent wax. Sounds like something I would like to do. I will probably go google it now to learn more about it. I assume it's expensive.

Thanks for the info,

As Erik said, please post the inquiry in the General Discussion subforum for the specific type of Wrangler you have. That'll be the best bet

Hope you get your situation resolved!

Cheers,

Ed

It is expensive but it is also regional. If you shop around bigger city's its can be 600-800 or more depending on the brand used. In my area the detail shop owner knows he could never get that kind of money out of anyone. I live in rural Indiana so there's no real market for high end services. Since my jeep was brand new when I had it done he only did one round of paint correction and a clay bar. I can't remember exactly what coating he used on mine but it was made by Gtechnic and has a 7 year rating. It was 300.00 out the door. I assume if I had a vehicle that had lots of scratches and swirls in the paint it would haven't gotten pricey quick. I could tell a difference in the surface appearance right away. Before applying the coating he had me put a plastic bag over my hand and rub the paint. You could feel the roughness of the paint. After the coating it is smooth as silk.
