Mr.

So I'm new to Jeeping. I recently purchased a 2011 Sahara Unlimited 6-speed. Ive noticed on the interstate that im constantly shifting between 5th and 6th due to slight hills. It seems to have very little acceleration in these gears. Is this normal? And if so, what kind of gears or upgrades can i do? I know it's not supposed to be a hot rod, but i can't go over 80 in the dang thing. And i cant hold 70 mph because of the lack of power in these gears. Thanks

Some additional information would be good, like what size tires you are running. This place is more for help and support on the forum itself, not on the jeeps. Maybe a Mod can move it, but it'd be better to post over in the JK forum, Start with the General area JK General Discussion Forum - Jeep Wrangler Forum
