Noob Can't Search

I can sign and browse just fine but can seldom search effectively; I really don't want to be the noob asking a question only to get "This is beat to death already, use search function" but it's an impossibility to wade through thousands of threads hoping to stumble upon the subject I need edjumacatin on, the JK lift sticky is 290 pages alone...

I primarily use an iMac, all up to date and so forth, and either Opera or Safari browsers. When using Opera to search I usually get "This page isn’t working
www.wranglerforum.com is currently unable to handle this request.", when I use Safari to search I just get a white page until I 'back' back to where I was.

Does anyone have a solution other than "Buy a windows machine"? Yes, I've cleared browser histories, cookies and sign-in stuff several times.

Help!

Ok, not just a Mac thing, broke down and used the work laptop, Windows 10 and up to date, Microsoft Edge as the browser. Searched in JK tech forum "Suspension and body lift" and got:

HTTP 500 error
That's odd... the website can't display this page
The site may be under maintenance of could have a programming error.
Try this
- Go back to the last page (a link)
-Try contacting the website's owner

Do I have a problem with my profile or ????

It seems you have stumbled upon a very specific glitch. It's the word "lift". Having that present in any search throws up a 500 Error message. I've recreated across multiple machines.

Guessing the word is used in the code of the search somehow and searching for the word is causing the failure. That's pure speculation however, I'll have a tech take a look.

In the mean time, try a new search, make sure you leave out that one word, and let me know the results. If you get another error, let me know what search terms you used

Wow, aren't I special, LOL!!! I've been searching away at that huge JK lift sticky, guess I've got some reading to do...

This is nothing new, strange finds me, like an old I bought F100 with car wheel pattern on it, and then if that's not working I just go and seek out strange like the Liberty CRD I had once upon a time.

This is still a great site even if I found the bug...

Send a message via MSN to HelenaAG
Will get this reported up to the techs.
Replicated the issue as well.

Sorry for the inconvenience,
