I've found that some photo storage sites offer quick generated links one is suppose to use to create images to and from their sites. Photobucket and Flickr all offer generated URLs to your images which one would copy then paste onto a alternative site or forum.

The issue is, that these generated links may not be corrected formed in a way as to correctly display the image. At this point one would have de-construct the generated image link and just copy the link to the image. Using an image from one of my forum topics, I'll try and de-construct the actual image link without all the other content.

<url>https://68.media.tumblr.com/dfd10057caabe5866b347ba2ee51d0bb/tumblr_or3ac2YaLx1w4ipjpo1_500.png</url>
Changed the coding source to show the full code

<url>https://i.imgur.com/inJzEex.jpg</url>

Here's a imgur image HTML code (abbreviated) which was generated for twitter users.

<a href="http://lunapic.com"><img src="https://i.imgur.com/E1iPUVp.jpg" border=0></a>

Here's a generated HTML forum code, which I've changed so that the code itself can be seen. In this image, just copy the <url>http://blahblah.jpg</url> then post in the forum.

The above HTML URL code is a direct link to the image as stored on my blog.. it was auto generated as to a size which I was able to adjust within my blog as noted but 500.png at the end of the code. Other codes via these photo storage sites may not be so easy to decode.

If push comes to shove, it may be best to host the image here within an attachment as located at the bottom of the text field. Then link the code (if necessary) within your text. Also, it's unclear as to if there is a posting limit for new members.. this means, that you must have "X" amount of text/post before one is allowed to link images within their comments.
