I flipped your Avatar PIC for you.

You should try taking your photos with your phone held "landscape", with the volume buttons pointing towards the ground, and the "Home" button on the right. This is the technical "right-side-up" for camera phones

This is a very common issue. You are not alone on this one........

All that I can tell you is, what I suggested has worked for our other Members. If this doesn't work for you, then try holding your Phone in different positions 90° at a time. Take a PIC and test post it. By doing it this way, you will find out what angle that you need to use.

Why not try some test PICS in this Thread and see if they work. Then you can get use to holding your Phone a certain way.

On a computer it's easy, just load the photo in whatever photo editing app you have (photos comes with OS X, there's one that comes with Windows also), and rotate the photo. I'd assume you can do this from a phone also, though I've never tried.

On an iphone, crop the pic ever so slightly before you upload it and it will post it correctly.

See? Like that...

From Geek.com:

Quote:
Why has my iPhone forsaken me?

The issue originated back when iOS 5 was released, because the operating system introduced the culprit: the ability to snap a photo with the phone’s volume up button. Basically, the camera’s sensor doesn’t realize when you rotate the phone to take a picture. Supposedly, your phone doesn’t correct the orientation itself because doing so would make it harder for the phone to take another picture immediately after the last. Instead, the iPhone writes the orientation info to the EXIF data of the image.

The reason why the images flip when you email them or transfer them to certain operating systems is because not all environments acknowledge EXIF data. This means that the orientation tags aren’t being acknowledged.

If you reindex your captured photo, it should work.

When you take a photo portrait style it will sometimes flip to landscape when you upload to a website. Before uploading, place it in edit mode and twirl it around 360 degrees and save it. Similar to what Jon said above, but you don’t need to crop it.

Edit: Try it on this one... I downloaded and flipped your photo to reindex and it works.
