Question Profile Photo is upside down

Does anyone know why my profile picture shows as upside down? The photo is right side up on my computer. I even tried rotating the photograph upside down and saving it to see if it would save right side up.

Thanks

You should try taking your photos with your phone held "landscape", with the volume buttons pointing towards the ground, and the "Home" button on the right. This is the technical "right-side-up" for camera phones.

^^^This will usually work.

If you are not starting out with a landscape PIC, then that maybe confusing the issue.

Post your PIC in this Thread. Even if it is upside down. I can flip it, and or resize it and Post it in your Profile and or Avatar, if you want me to?

I believe I am having a similar issue with my avatar. It appears to be shown vertically instead of horizontally. At least that is how it is shown when I download it onto this sight.

Yup. That's the way it appears. I'll try using the advise given to Gecko13 above.

So that's what happened to the pic that I posted of a rolled over Jeep on its roof.

It ended up looking like it was parked in a pond with a overhanging hill in the background.
Just kidding. Knowing about the 'landscape' feature of a phone is sure to help someone.

Good luck, L.M.

It's one of those things that should be explained a bit more by phones, but since they auto-correct it for you, they don't
