Thread Title Highlight issues.

Good afternoon AG Team,

Please read below from one of our Members (RubiconBound), plus my response to him.

I am having some issues as well. When I open a Thread in our Classified Forum and then close it, it still stays highlighted from the last Member that opened it. But this is not consistent, sometimes it's O.K.

I think we need to run this by AG on our Help Site.

I can place this in our Help Site. The title will be: THREAD TITLE HIGHLIGHT ISSUE.

Is this O.K. with you?
Yes, please send me the link to the thread. Thank you, Bill.

does it stay like that until you have posted a second time or after a while, does it unbolds itself?
this could be a caching thing with the google server.

Hi Lee,

It unbolds itself after a while.

I will try using Microsoft Edge and see what happens.

Not sure what RubiconBound is using. @RubiconBound

Thank you,

Bill

It seems to just go away after a while. Or if I refresh the page a few times it seems to go away. Sometimes it stays longer than others tho.

This has been happening since the move. So far the only way I have seen to show the thread read is to refresh. I can close the forum at night and when I open the next morning it will still show as unread even though the last post was mine.

The forum has also quit automatic updating.

Yup this is related to the aggressive caching issue with the cloud.
It may take longer than usual for those issues to be shown as read or unbold.
It is something that we're looking into fixing with Google and vBulletin.
