Virus attempt while viewing this site

I've been getting a virus/phishing attempt while viewing this site for the past few weeks. Happens maybe every other day and takes over only the tab I have WF open in. Using Microsoft Edge on a Windows 7 (auto upgrade to Windows 10). AVG catches it and adds it the phishing url list. This was the url for the last attempt:

https://hireonlinecabs.online/errora...GE_sdsddshelp/

I have to close the tab, close the AVG threat box, and reopen the website.

I've had no issues here either, I'm thinking it may be tied to one of the advertisements that are automatically loaded.

I had that once tracked it down and I dealt with it, was getting rather annoying especially when it wanted to hijack my browser tab, thankfully Chrome is more resistive to these things but still gets annoying....

Id like to use Chrome but this laptop I use for work... is overutilized and slow as hell with Chrome. Edge is low in useage.

Had another one pop up today. AVG caught it and neutralized it. Only tab open was this site.

4th day in a row. AVG did not grab this one and I had to close the browser. Ran Gmail and two other online programs all day; ProofHQ and Basecamp all day. I was on here for 3-4 mins and this popped up.

I know you said this is a Work PC Correct? I'd let your Help Desk know.
It may appear to only happen with wf but if its happening that often its more of an issue with your PC and it needs a full scan which usually needs Admin rights.

Chrome is not the issue. AVG is. Drop it and go with Malwarebytes Premium. Small foot print on resources with a big stomp on the bad things out there. Huge community and company support as well. They also do corporate versions.

AVG just sucks the resources dry.

AdBlock, then you won't even see those pesky ads. This forum can get really cluttered with them.

Again. Dropping the AVG and trying the above.

This is a work provided laptop but has not technical support other than me! And I am not terribly supportive.

I would suggest not posting links like that. Security alert locking up computer with IP identity theft warnings. Not good. DO NOT CLICK ON THE LINK ABOVE.
