Hi. What do you mean by Part thread? If you mean parts for sale, guidelines are here, and in the forum guidelines linked at top of the forum.

Quote:
Classifieds Use: Our classifieds system is offered as a benefit of membership, no commercial sales are permitted. We expect ads placed to be related to the topic of this forum. Only members with 15 posts or more may post new or reply to existing ads..
• Include the name of the item in the title of your post
• Place only one ad per item - do not post or repost an ad in more than one section of the classifieds.
• Do not place ads directing others to an e-bay, craigslist or other online sale or directing others to another website.
• Ads may be removed by our staff at any time for any reason.
• Ads that have been inactive for over 6 months will be removed from the board.

15 Post Minimum

I have not reached the 15 Post Minimum as I am new and learning, so mostly reading. I am sure that is why.

You do not have permission to access this page

Plus I received this message when even trying to reply to someone selling something I am interested in.

contract73, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

New members are unable to use the classifieds until they reach 15 posts. This is an anti-spam and scammer feature to protect the community. When you reach 15 posts you will be granted permissions within an hour.

Does this apply to editing posts as well? I just want to fix a grammatical mistake!

Yes it does. Go to the post that you want to edit and use the post report button (triangle w/!) to tell us what you want to have changed.
