09 JKX needs new clutch kit but....

So my mechanic tried to order the clutch kit for my Jeep today and he was told that he could only get the clutch kits from Dealerships. Is this really true? Nobody sells after market clutches???
The dealership want $200 more than after market companies!!! Please tell me I can buy a clutch kit from a parts house!!!

Thank you for the link! I knew QT would have the clutch kits but I found one at Car Quest! They have lots of Jeep parts that most stores dont!

Call around. Pretty sure you can find a lower price.

Actually
Centerforce DF098391 Dual Friction Clutch Pressure Plate and Disc https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003CGA6BC..._g.lavb13A7KTH

I did not read through the info. Make sure you're buying the right part.

If I had to do a similar replacement; I'd get a new Centerforce throw out bearing and clutch kit - for years I've only heard/read good things about this brand of clutch components. The price is high, but your Jeep is young and you will be potentially staving off any future issues with these parts.
