'15 TPMS work in '12Sport ?

Picked up a sweat set of take off '15 Altitude Edition wheels and tires for my 12 Sport. No more painted steelies for me. The new wheels came with the factory TPMS installed. Husband swapped the wheels over , warning light was off for 2 days , then started blinking while driving then went solid. Light still on.
The new wheel/tire package had about 150 miles on it when I got them on Wednesday. I've added another 150miles.

Are the 15 sensors compatible with my '12 Sport ? My Jeep doesn't any electronics. Just a base.

Well still have the stock wheels and tires so we can have the sensors swapped.

No. They're different frequencies. 2012 - 315MHz, 2015 - 433MHz. They can't be programmed to work. If you want the light out and you don't want to break down the tires and install the correct sensors, you can take care of the light with an AEV Procal or Superchips Flashcal. The sensors can be swapped, but both sets of tires have to be broken down. The tires/wheels you're installing have to also be re-balanced.

I can't remember the threshold but you can't turn down to zero on the 15. It may be cheaper to buy new ones and break down one set of tires. My new sensors were 40spmething shipped off of eBay for 5.
