New over here, doing my research over lifts. I'm just going for a 2.5 inch lift, Quadratec, Teraflex, Rubicon, ProCom........who's better?

Here we go. Whats better Chocolate or Vanilla ice cream, Coke or Pepsi, Black or White. Out of the lifts you named I would go Teraflex. Here are the top lifts in no order.

-Teraflex
-Rock Krawler
-Rancho w/ 9000 shocks
-OME

I use Old Man Emu shocks and springs which are 2.5 but more like 2.75 I have a JKU, and Rock Krawler components such as Trackbars, Discos, Endlinks, and Rancho Correction brackets for my control arms, and handles great. I also had 3 other lifts to compare such as Rough Country, BDS, and Procomp

Do the OME shocks and springs really ride better than all of the others? I keep hearing that and am severely tempted to go with OME due to the ride quality.

All I can tell you is they are made in Australia and those dudes are real offroaders when it comes to suspensions these guys have a well made kit.

This is the only pic I have right now with OME shocks and springs just a bit taller than 2.5 with my JKU on 35's. Sorry for the glare I will get more pics once this snow vanishes. I have the hi line fenders now working on gears next. Ome doesn't make components except for the rear trackbar bracket which I recommend and 2" bumpstops which I have as well. OME make a complete 4" lift kit, but I know you want 2.5. I went with the Rock Krawler components as I mentioned before.

Of the ones you mentioned, the Teraflex and Rubicon Express are the most complete.

Here is a similar thread, it's worth reading:

I am in the same boat. Have done tons of reading on this and will get teraflex in the very near future. 2.5 inches as well.

Rock krawler IMHO.. Super heavy duty stuff, well known in the offroad community and they sell at a good price. After seeing the hulks jk hit by a dump truck, and the arms ripping the frame apart and still being in tact (still backed by their lifetime warranty just in case) im glad i went with their lift. Rides like a dream and everything is real BEEFY!

Pics for reference.

Teraflex will likely be the easiest most straight forward route. Enjoy!

Just installed the 2.5" Teraflex last weekend on my Jeep. Very good instructions, took me about 6 hours by myself. The overall install is very straight forward.
