2-DR Owners: Show me your storage ideas

Limited room in the back as we all know. Has anyone over come this with ideas to utilize the roll cage? Pics are encouraged

Hi-lift and shovel lay behind the front seats.

I have a large pelican case that I keep all of my recovery gear/tools/oil etc... this has a padlock on it and it it gets chained locked to the body of my jeep. If I need to transport something big I just pull the pelican case out

We removed the rear seat in our JK and put it in storage in the basement several days after we brought it home. Plenty of room now. We sometimes take it to the drive-in and lay in the back while watching the movies.

Here are some ideas that will hold smaller lighter items:

Bestop saddle bag (this is 2 door) - I have this:

These could fit below the Bestop:

All Things Jeep - Canvas Jeep Interior Storage System - Back Trail Outfitters' Between the Roll Bars Bag, Black Canvas

These sit on the wheel hump:

These are a Bestop competitor

Jeep Storage Bags| Roll Bar Bag | 4x4 Cargo Bag

For the 2010 and below, the underseat lock boxes are nice and add some usable, lockable room.

Hope these help.

Best thing I did was take 2 back packs with a bunch of random pockets and strap them to the back of each front seat. Also like my smittybilt tailgate back.

How far apart are the 2 up bars? And how much adjustment is in the straps?

I finally took my rear seat out. That's the best thing to do. Put the Mopar cargo mat down, lots of space now.

I just added a set of trekarmor seat covers, and they have a lot of storage options built into them as well with the molle straps. Lots of options for adding bags for recovery gear and the like.

I use the underfloor storage to the max (I carry a 30-foot strap, jack base extension, winch remote, air deflator, wheel lock, bungees).

Now I am considering getting onboard air to get rid of the portable compressor that is taking up 1/3 of the space back there.

Heres what I have done so far, with space at a premium, I wanted to make sure everything is accessible but still have them in an organized manner:

Do it! you will not regret it! Plus you dont have to worry about it growing legs and walking off on its own or forgetting it somewhere. This is the one I got: Dominion OffRoad Jeep JK CMF OnBoard Air System

The roll bars in the 2 door jk are approx 32" apart. The Bestops have about a fair amount of play that they can go out to. They are held up with simple nylon straps and buckle like this:

They shoiuld be easy to extend.

I'm in the process of designing a roof rack to DIY onto my Jeep. I need to have it done by June, so I'm hoping to have pictures this month!
I'm going to attach to the ACE rear bumper I have, and for the front I'll attach to the 50" light bar brackets I already have. Then I found this site that has all sorts of pipe attachments to finish the structure!

I went to my local surplus store and bought different shaped and size molle pouches and zipped tied them to my roll bars. Great thing is all the diff sizes will fit all around.

With all these sweet bags strapped to the roll cage, I'm getting some ideas that may allow me to postpone the roof rack! Thanks guys!

I've done this with my CJ, YJ, now TJ. Will do it to a JK when I buy one.
A bit of plywood, some glue and screws.
.
It bolts to the wheel well with 2 of the rear seat bolts.

I'll have to double check on the size, the mount is the MagLight branded mounting bracket that I picked up from Bass Pro Shop.
