2009 Wrangler blows cold on driver, hot on passenger

Hi folks. New here, but came across this forum, and have a confusing problem. Heater switches all seem to work fine as to directing heat. There are no dual controls for driver / passenger. But the passenger side works great for hot or cold, feet, dash or defrost. But the driver side never gets more than luke warm. Even on defrost, one half of the vent blows hot, the other cold. Any suggestions?

Welcome!
Are you saying that the air direction, like defrost, vent and feet is changing but the temp is just warm when set to full hot?

Yes Jeeper, but the strange thing is, it's hot on the passenger side but cool on the drivers side. Temp. gauge is cranked to hot position.

Search "heater core" on this forum.

Common problem.

Hopefully back flushing fixes it. Replacing it is not a simple procedure.

How would it be the heater core when the passenger side blows really hot? Seems like it's just not getting across the middle to the drivers side.
