Angry 2014 Jeep jk radio💥

Hello jeepers! Im having trouble with my radio just like many other on here. Sometimes mine will turn on and play sometimes it won’t and just clicks sometimes it goes on and off every 3-5 seconds, but mine is doing with everything from am/fm to satellite to Bluetooth. The only thing is my satellite will come on everytime and play, but it still cuts in and out.

Apart from checking the connections at the back of the radio and making sure they are properly seated, there isn't much you can do. You might try a radio repair shop. They should be able do take the radio apart and diagnose the problem at the circuit board level. But... that will probably cost as much as picking up a used radio as a replacement.

If you want to retain a factory radio, keep an eye on Craigslist. A lot of people upgrade their radios to after market models. You can get those fairly cheaply. If you don't have navigation, you could even upgrade to that. Just make sure the seller provides you with the radio's security code, or you won't be able to activate it.

Then of course you could go to an after market radio yourself and gain some advanced features like Android Auto or Apple Car Play... There are a lot of threads here on the forum discussing these...

Which radio? I have a 2017 vintage 130 you could have for a few bucks and shipping. I just replaced it with a Pioneer AVH 1300 NEX. A bit pricey, but much betterer.

The 130 was working fine when I removed it.
