2014 JKU brake pad recommendations. Yes again

Iíve found several post about pads. Such a big mix. Id like something that brakes better than OEM which Iím running with 33ís. Iím not looking to break the bank. 40-$50 a pair. Iím guessing it will be a Napa, autozone, type brand. Iíve seen where many like the Wagner thermoquiet. Iím even fine sticking with OEM but was hoping for a little more bite. So what has a bit more bite and is quiet. Not as concerned with brake dust.

Thanks.

I used Power Stop brake pads and love them. Right in the price range you looking for.

Thanks. And. For the rears? Which power stop?

Amazon was showing both as front pads. But the 1274 is the rears and 1273 are fronts.

I've tried a few aftermarket brand brake pads and although they all seemed to stop fine most of them squeaked so I tossed them and got OEM from the dealer which stopped and were quiet.

I never had a problem with brake noises. I use this on the back of the pads all the time and it never let me down. https://www.permatex.com/products/lu...c-brake-quiet/

What aftermarket pads have you tried? Iíve never had the fortune of experiencing brake squeaking. Iíve used Napa,& autozone brands with no noise issues.

I will most likely give the power stop a try for a bit more braking. The Wagner link above, those pads looked cool. Never heard if Centric but I will at least look into them.

Brake Select was one brand. The other may have been Wagner but I'm not sure. It's been a few years since I've needed any.

I recently installed the Raybestos EHT (Enhanced Hybrid Technology) pads and the Jeep now stops noticeably better than it did with the previous Wagner Thermoquiet pads. The Raybestos pads are $49 on Amazon.
