2014 Polar Unlimited Lift Ideas

OK OK, I'm new so don't beat me up to bad. I know this has probably been discussed a bajillion times on the forum but I would love some suggestions for my 2014 Unlimited Polar edition. My last car was a FJ Cruiser and when I did that lift I had to choose between about 10 options. I swear there are about 500 different lifts for the Wrangler and I just can't wrap my head around them.

I have come to terms with the fact that I'm not going off roading as much as I would like. Honestly like 2 times a year. And I only live 4 hours from Moab. I do want to put on 33" tires. I do want to keep the same feel as the factory ride. I don't want a cheap/crappy option. But I'm also not going to do any serious rock crawling. I need to get up in the mountains on dirt trails, up to the ski resort on snowy days and look good in the parking lot. I spent about 10K in aftermarket stuff on my FJ and took it to Moab 2 times in 4 years. So trying to be more realistic this time around. I'm going to do a lift, wheels and tires and possibly a front bumper.

Thanks for your suggestions!

If you want to maintain the factory ride just install a spacer kit that retains the factory coils and shocks and hence the ride. The handling is modestly altered. The cost is low and parts are simple. There are several good brands.

If you want a lift kit and an improvement over the factory ride and handling then go with AEV 2.5 kit. The AEV road manners are the best and off-road performance is good in case you get tempted every weekend to go to Moab. As you noted your FJ was a car but your new Jeep is in a world of it own.
