2015 JK 2 Door - Rear Facing Back Seat

I have a 2015 2 door JK and have been thinking about turning my back seat around so that it faces the back of the vehicle.

Has anyone else done this? Please post pics.

What about the seat belts? Is it possible to flip them around so they are still usable?

Yeah, the tread I found wasn't in relation to a JK, or at least I don't remember it being about one. I just read one over there earlier this morning.

You have old station wagon envy? I hated those seats then as a kid couldn't imagine it being better now lol.

I loved those old wagons. haha. I was actually thinking it offer more leg room if I ever had a back seat passenger.... which wont happen much anyway... so I am thinking that I'll either just take the seat out all together, or flip it around. I dunno.

I wish I could remove half of the backseat. Leaving room for one passenger if needed, but still having more cargo room. The leg room for the back seat isn't too bad, it's just hard getting in and out of it.

A lot of 2-door owners, me included, just get rid of the back seat as soon as possible. I've put mine back in the Jeep twice in two years, each time for a couple of days. Other than that, it's cargo area.

I too grew up with a family station wagon with one of those rear-facing seats. Ugh. Didn't like it then, wouldn't wish it on anyone now.

Regards, CW
