2016 Sahara Navigation

Hello-

I just got this Jeep 2 days ago, and the Nav System has tracked every road I've driven on since! It shows in blue and my map looks like a plate of spaghetti. I cannot find a way to turn off this feature, or to delete what is already showing.

I just want a clean map that shows where I am, and only show route lines when I have a destination put in to guide me.

Thanks in advance if you can help
Jack

That sounds like a bread crumb option, there has to be an option in the nav settings to turn it off. Was here a separate manual for the nav unit in the glove compartment?

Found this info:
Changing The Map Settings
From the main menu press Settings > Map.
• Map Detail — sets the level of detail on the map. More
detail may result in slower map drawing.
• Map View — sets the perspective on the Map page.
• Map Theme — changes the color of the map data.
• Map Data Layout — changes the amount of data
visible on the map.
• Vehicle — changes the icon to represent your position
on the map.
• Trip Log
• Show on Map — displays the path of your travels on
the map.
Maybe go into this menu and see if you can turn off the "Trip Log".

Found it here, page 114
