430N and iPod, it announces every track.

I have my iPod plugged in the 430N starts to play a split second of the track, then interrupts and announces the artist and sometimes the track name, but not always. This is incredibly annoying, I just want to listen to the music. I have discovered that some options are only available through voice commands and not under the menu settings (dumb). But I have not found a way either visually or verbally to turn this off. Please help, this syntho voice is ruining my music.

Hmm, I never had that with my iPhone 6+ or iPod touch when listening to my music. Are you using the wire it Bluetooth to connect to your headunit?

My guess is that it's a setting on your iPod.

I got a brand new iPod Nano 16G from a vendor so I synced it and threw it in my new Jeep. I assumed it was the Jeep but I just did a search and seems that this is the iPod.

Thanks all.

It was the dumb iPod. Both are brand new so I blamed the Jeep.
