50" light bar wire routing

not finding a good answer. how do you route the wire into the engine compartment....to my spot. some say run it under the mount....that doesn't work. the wire is the diameter of a pencil and the bracket fits song. you can run it unread but the two windshield lower bolts won't reattach. I tried alongside with zip ties but the bracket edges are sharp and its cuts the ties.

im an 11 JKU. i sure dont see how to do this. Rigid says, i think, to go up and over???? over the windshield under the roof. Seems like it would leak.

ideas? thanks.....

I ran mine under the bracket. You're right about the length of the bolts. I had to replace one with a longer bolt from Lowes.

I'm more concerned that the two lower bolts won't line up with the holes. I had to snug the three verticals (up the a piilar) in order to get the holes for the lower horizontals to line up. with something under the bracket i dont see them lining up at all.....
