A note about gearing

I'm doing a gear swap from 3.21s to 4.10s in my 2013 JKU. I'll also be adding detroit trutracs which throws a bit of a wrench into what gears to order. The Truetracs are drilled for 3/8 and 7/16 bolts, while the jk crown gear is tapped for 1/2" bolts. I would also like to install oem quality gears, I'm really not interested in finding the cheapest gear set possible. I called Dana, their tech guys won't give any info without axle Build of Material numbers. They say its stamped into the RH axle tube. Wrong, maybe 20 years ago, but now they put it on a paper sticker. The front number was easy to find, I could see it just lifting the hood. The rear was a bear. I finally took a mirror, there it was, on the very top of the axle.
Once you have this number, You can key it in Dana's website, and find information about the axle, and all of the components in it. I've attached a pic of the info. You can see my gear ratio is 3.21, and the gear set number is 2007774-5.
Next, dana publishes an application guide for ring and pinion gears. My 2007774 is listed, giving the ring gear bolt size, and spline count on the pinion shaft. All I do now, is find the ratio I want, with the ring gear bolt size to match the Truetracs. Make sure the pinion spline count matches as well. As you can see, by the chart, to replace the 2007774 with 4.10s, matching the spline count, and bolts for the TTs, I'd have to order 2005116.
Hope this helps.
