AEV Fuel Caddy Siphon Pump

Ave the AEV rear bumper with tire carrier and the AEV fuel caddy. Every time I use the siphon pump from AEV some fuel remains in the tank. Yesterday I hooked up a hand pump to the siphon pump line to drain the fuel caddy. Worked but was slow and messy. My questions are how do you stow your hose so it works, how do you use the siphon pump and do you get the caddy empty?

I have the Titan Trail Trekker and my tube siphon has a check ball in it. I don't think you can ever really get it completely empty though. My siphon came in a very large ziplock type bag. Once I am done using it I gather it like an extension cord (loops) and then put it in the bag. No problems.
